Chairman Luqman Lays Out Kumasi Magazine Demands Before Suame, Old Tafo MPs

Chairman of the Ashanti Region Ghana National Association of Garages, Alhaji Mohammed Luqman Nuhu Appiedu, has put some urgent requests before the Members of Parliament for Suame and Old Tafo regarding Suame Magazine.

Chairman Luqman made the requests during a joint working visit to Suame Magazine by the Member of Parliament for Old Tafo, Hon. Vincent Assifuah and member of Parliament for Suame, Hon. John Darko last week.

The MPs were in the Suame Magazine enclave to offer assistance to artisans who were victims to a recent devastating fire outbreak that razed down at least 25 shops and 34 vehicles on January 31, 2025.

Chairman Luqman expressed his gratitude to the two MPs for coming to their aid at a troubling time and also took the opportunity to lay before them some urgent requests.

Speaking in the presence of the two MPs, the media and artisans from Suame Magazine, Chairman Luqman called for improved road infrastructure within the Suame Magazine enclave, appealed for the installation of CCTV cameras in the various zones and also made the request for a medical center to treat work-related injuries for Suame artisans.

Not for the first time, Chairman Luqman also appealed for a fire station to be set up at Suame Magazine to swiftly combat any fire outbreak that may arise in future.
